Please do the following.
- Get a YouCat (yellow book). They are in a box near the bibles in the corner.
- Silent Reading: Take 10-15 minutes to explore the YouCat. The Table of Contents and the Index give you information on the topics in the book.
- After 10-15 minutes, write reflections on TWO questions you found interesting.
Set up your paper as follows:
Journal 11.1 (YouCat) CE 10D Name, Class #
November 16, 2018
Then write the question number AND the question. For example:
YouCat Question #48: Why did God create the world?
Then below this, write a two-part reflection as follows:
1A) Summary (summarize the answer the YouCat gives to the question in about 3-4 sentences)
1B) Reflection (write a 7-8 sentence reflection giving you thoughts on this question/topic and the answer given by the YouCat.
When you are done, turn your paper over and repeat the procedure for the second question. Remember to write out the question and then label 2A and 2B for the summary and reflection parts.
After you are done, hand in your paper to your teacher and put the YouCat back nicely in the box. You then have the rest of class to work on other school work or do AR reading.
Thank you for your cooperation.
